Melissa Mollica graduated in Management Engineering in October 2023 from Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis focused on the strategic analysis of business models for industrial symbiosis. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Engineering (ING-IND/35) and is affiliated with the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti (DIAG) at the Faculty of Information Engineering, Informatics, and Statistics of Sapienza University of Rome. Her research field revolves around the circular economy, with a particular focus on industrial symbiosis. Her approach is rooted in industrial economics and game theory, supported by numerical simulation methods and agent-based modeling (ABM).
