Emanuele De Santis received his Master's Degree in Engineering in Computer Science in July 2019 and his PhD in Automatica, Bioengineering and Operations Research (curriculum Automatica) in January 2023, both from Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) in Automatic Control at the Department of Computer, Automatic and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti" - Sapienza University of Rome. He also participates as a researcher in the Rome Technopole FP4 project "Phygital Twin Technologies for innovative Surgical training & planning" and in the European Horizon Europe project NANCY.
